Echo Reduction In Open Offices

Acoustic Design Ideas for an Open Office

This company was suffering with a common issue in modern day offices - echo.  The new building was beautifully designed with high open ceilings, modern cement floors and glass windows surrounding the space.  The look was beautiful and easy to keep clean, but the sound echoing throughout the space made the space almost unusable.

A combination of acoustic wall panels and baffles was selected to mitigate the reverberation in the space, without inhibiting the original design intent.  Colours were chosen from our standard rocky road collection, and worked to enhance the overall look of the space.

This open office is now acoustically comfortable for both staff an guests because of the multi-faceted approach of using ceiling and wall treatment.
